The RIMC is a feeder institution for the National Defence Academy, Indian Naval Academy and subsequently the Indian Armed Forces.

Requirement Details
- In Rashtriya Indian Military College - Dehradun Class VIII Entrance 1 year boy studying in class VI/ VII.
- IQ Level Required to train candidates- Minimum 125 Average IQ is 85 to 115
- Online Class - Daily 2 hours(17:00 - 19:00 hrs)
- Offline class only at "Coimbatore"(Monday,Wednesday,Friday and Saturday)
